We were told that my husbands cone scan would be paid for by insurance when they very well DID NOT KNOW that it would. They talked us into doing the scan then and there because "his insurance will pay for it and the dr.

can read it and inform us what needed to be done". They say he signed a paper stating that we would pay anything the insurance company would not pay and we thought that meant the estimate for the dental work because once again I stress the point they told us INSURANCE WILL PAY FOR THE SCAN!!!!!!!! $280. is a lot more than $00.

which we were told we would have to pay. Not only were they nasty to me on the phone but they were equally nasty to my husband. One person my husband talked to actually said she would reduce the price by 1/2.

ALL THEY WANT IS TO CHEAT YOU OUT OF MONEY. First, his dentures didn't fit and now that he can take time from his job to do something about it, he has to pay out the butt for all new stuff and implants if he wants anything to fit.

First of all, YOU should know what is covered by YOUR dental insurance policy, since you paid for it. NO CLINIC can no all the various limitations of thousands of dental insurance plans in their area.

Second, if paying $300 or so for a cone beam scan breaks the bank for you, you obviously have no business pursuing implant placement, which costs thousands of dollars.

By the way, going to a fleabag corporate clown club clinic like A$pen for something as complicated as implants would be like taking a jet turbine engine to a local Jiffy Lube for an overhaul.

You got the wrong place for the job, lady.

Anyone who thinks a joint like A$pen might be a great place for implants and other high-end precision dental treatment is a complete knucklehead.

The moral of the story is to keep your natural teeth and not have them yanked out of your head and hope dentures or implants work. Not everyone can tolerate them!
