Dr. Manjari Pamulapati located in the Bedford office has caused me agonizing pain for the last 10 months of my life. She gave me two frontal veneers on my two front teeth, which I only agreed to because she told me that was the only solution to my chipped teeth. When I...

Sorry, but just because a tooth needs a root canal does not mean you have a malpractice case. Many times when a front tooth is chipped, a plastic filling will not last long.

Veneers and complete crowns are the only options. I don't do many veneers because the fracture and pop off so often. Not to worry, a root canal can easily be done without harming your new veneers. There is no chance A$pen will pay for it.

Patients so often go to this gyp joint thinking they will save money. I have reviewed their quotes many times.

This outfit charges many fees normal dentists never think of charging. In the end, A$pen patients usually end up paying much more.

She had an abscessed tooth. We took her in Monday the 17th of Jan 2022. They couldn't pull the tooth because of the infection. They did give her a *** script of amoxicillin. She was on it for two days straight and it didn't do much at all. I called them today January...

The problem is YOU were irresponsible by not taking your daughter to a dentist until she had a toothache. Then you were irresponsible again by wanting the tooth extracted rather than saved by a root canal. Then you were just plain foolish by taking her to a den of thieves like Aspen instead of to an honest and competent independent dentist.

I want them to not do this to other people. What they did to my daughter was horrible. They didn't let her know she would feel everything because her tooth was still abscessed. They didn't even try to drain the infection.

Scammed a disabled veteran, then harassed me to collect a bill that wasn't mine

My friend who is a 100% disable veteran was pulled in by their "veterans special" more than 2 years ago. They charged him over two grand and didn't even do a basic tooth cleaning. I took him to my dentist the next day and he got the care he deserved. Now I am getting dunning calls from Lakeside Receivable Services out of Buffalo, NY about "a claim against you and your social security" and when I called to tell them off, I was told it was a bill from Aspen Dental. Not only don't go there, run away from them. Run like ***

User's recommendation: Run like *** in the other direction.

A$pen is an equal-opportunity scammer. Retirees, veterans, senior citizens, the poor, the disabled- everybody is fair game for their scams. It is really risky to trust your health care to a Wall Street private equity group instead of a licensed dentist.

Top denture does not fit

After 2 months they finally got my top plate. Went in for fitting. Nightmare all they did was flop in my mouth. Told me suck in etc and as soon as I stopped they flopped again. All they wanted was to keep doing adjustments. This is not my 1st time getting a top plate. This denture was to big. Staff got very rude with me told them shove this top plate where the sun does no shine. I should have know better as my wifes bottom plate doesnt fit and a friends of ours had a terrible experience .

User's recommendation: Go somewhere else.

Usually no dentist wants to mess with another dentist's denture. If you look real hard, maybe an older dentist will evaluate it and reline it for less than another complete denture will cost. A decent upper denture costs between $1500 and $2100 these days.

Bad Dentist Experience

I simply wanted a routine teeth cleaning. But they insisted on doing x-rays. I told them I did not want x-rays, just to have my teeth cleaned. It was a horrible experience! They started to tell me that I had terrible teeth and needed to be treated for Periodontal Disease immediately which cost me $1,193.20 out of pocket! I called my previous dentist and he told me my teeth were fine, and the bone loss for my teeth was perfectly normal for my age! I demand a full refund!

User's recommendation: Stay Away from Aspen Dental (Especially Austriaco Dental Associates LLC) !!!

Sorry, but you are the one who is wrong on this. A teeth cleaning is not like a car wash.

Dentists must do an examination before any treatment. Any exam includes x-rays. Exam and x-rays ALWAYS come first, THEN the dentist can know what sort of cleaning the patient needs. Why did you switch from your trusted old dentist to begin with?

Aspen's favorite scam is to "upcode" regular cleanings to expensive scaling and root planing. Guess why they do this?

Paid for services I did not want or need.

I went for a simple routine teeth cleaning, but ended up with a $1,193.20 out of pocket expense for supposed dental disease that is NOT abnormal for my age. I cannot afford this, because I am on a fixed income. They were NOT understanding or compassionate about my situation, and I am still in severe pain over 24 hours since this terrible experience!

User's recommendation: Stay Away From Aspen Dental.

You thought a shyster outfit like Aspen, owned by a Wall Street Hedge Fund, would be compassionate?????? That is about believing a hungry lion on the African savannah would be compassionate after spotting you walking alone.

Another common Aspen prank. They cancel your appointment, then void your so-called warranty due to the wait of getting an appointment.

Those Aspen jokesters kill me. They know so many ways to keep money paid them.

They got better lawyers than you can ever afford, so don't plan on getting it back in court! Best advice: forget about those scammers and find yourself an honest dentist who owns his practice.

No dental plan I have ever encountered pays 100% of everything. Most Medicare Advantage plans are garbage and have garbage dental coverage. The reason why Aspen accepts them is that this company has no trouble cheating patients on such ridiculous dental plans.

You went to a corporate shyster joint instead of an honest and independent dentist. You have to take all the crap they give you. Next time be more skeptical of stupid, lying TV advertisements.

Several visits

This place is a money-centered business, not a patient service oriented business. I have been there several times to finish a treatment. I have found that their prices are arbitrary---they change them at any time, even after they have given prices in writing. To make matters worse, I went in to use my last $600 of my insurance allowance to finish up a couple of things. I was on the phone yesterday, and was told that the things I needed o have done would be under $600. However, when I went in for my appointment, they wouldn't stand behind their quote. And also said that my $600 could not be applied. Terrible. I will be calling corporate tomorrow.

User's recommendation: NEVER EVER GO! THEY LIE ABOUT SPECIALS, TOO!

LOL! You will be calling corporate!

Be prepared to leave a message and never be called back!

You are dealing with some industrial-strength corporate crooks, not some dentist that owns his own practice. They had rather lose you as a patient than give you back any money!

The moral of your story is to have a trustworthy and competent dentist you use on a regular basis, NOT JUST WHEN YOU HAVE A TOOTHACHE. If you are a regular patient of such a dentist, he or she will help you out if you get in trouble in an inopportune moment.

I will be honest with you. I have been in private practice a long time. Toothache patients who only come in for emergency are a dime a dozen. They never make good patients.

Nobody wants to go out of their way to help these irresponsible people. That being said, even if you go to a slimy outfit like A$pen on a regular basis, they won't go out of their way to help you in an emergency.

Not reputable dentist.

They want to charge me 229.dollars to fix my upper plate after the same tooth they "fixed" fell out again. And I all ready paid them 229 dollars to fix the same tooth . If they had fixed it right when the made the plates , it would not have fell the first time let alone twice for the same tooth.

User's recommendation: Don't go to Aspen Dental in Killeen , Tx.

The flexible nylon A$pen uses in their ComfyJunk dentures does not hold teeth well. That is why the rest of us dentists don't use this junk material. When a tooth comes out, there is no way to reliably repair it.
