Continue to bill for bills already paid

Have gone by local office that assures me I owe no money but keep getting letters saying insurance has been rejected.

Treated with disrespect

Dentist told my 81 year old mother that she talked to much after she had been waiting for over an hour. Dr. was so rude. Wanted my handicap mother to go out the back door so she would not be seen by other patients because she was crying.

User's recommendation: No way … warning stay away!!

Ripoff pricing/ refusal to get pre-approval

I'm new to Mt Airy NC as of 12/01. Went to Aspen dental first. Showed my insurance card which pays $1k for the year. I told them I was concerned about getting work done before the end of the year. Aspen dental took xrays and told me I needed partial deep cleaning and 4...

That is Aspen doing what they do best- scamming people. Their favorite scam is to upcode regular cleanings to scalings and root planings, whether needed or not.

Looking for prostituting providers on some insurance list is a great way to get the crummiest dentists around.

Good dentists don't sign contracts with money-filching insurance companies. The only quibble I have with what you say is that it DOES take 2 or 3 weeks to get pre-approval from insurance companies, because one often has to send x-rays and photos.

Billing

Be advised, they are charging twice as much as any high average cost for service. Originally I went to their office for a tooth ace, they sent me home with antibiotics for an infection which was routine due to the condition I was in. When I returned for the follow-up 3...

FYI interest, 4 quadrants of deep cleaning 4+ teeth per quadrants of scaling and root planing in my practice runs about $1400. But most of the time I cut patients a break and it is less than this.

You never save money going to a corporate gyp joint like Aspen. I review their silly treatment plans all the time.
