I went to Aspen Dental hoping to give my low self-esteem a boost. I was a denture wearer before I went to Aspen for the first time.

Due to my circumstances, I was unable to purchase new dentures for many years. My mouth was a mess; I would not smile and would cover my mouth when I talked. Finally, a little more than a year ago, things got better for me, and I put up part of the money for new dentures and borrowed the rest. Going to Aspen was the worst mistake I have ever made in my 67+ years on this earth.

I went in looking bad, and after almost $5000 worth of work. I came out looking worst, literally. The bottom dentures were so thick that my bottom lip looked like I had chewing tobacco in them. The teeth in top dentures were very short, and I had to skin my mouth way back before you could even see them.

It felt like I had a big chunk of wax in my mouth. I sat there in that chair and cried like a baby. That wasn't bad enough, one day I was reclined in the dentist chair, from my position I was able to see into the next room when the assistant came into my room she walked over to me and asked me to open my mouth, she was still wearing the same gloves from the other exam. I told her she did not change her gloves, and she said yes I did; I said, I could see you in the other room, and you walked out, but never changed your gloves.

She was embarrassed and left the room; she came back with no gloves on her hands, then she reached in the box and got a new pair. If I had not already paid so much money, I would have walked out that day, never to return. I could not get the thought out of my mind if I did not see her, she would have put those nasty gloves in my mouth. I am still grossed out to this day about that experience.

If you got a loan through them, watch out because they will jack your credit score up; every time you go in for a visit, they would make it look like you just made another charge on your credit card, a card you will never receive. If I had not checked my credit score, I would have never known what they were doing. I borrowed $2000; they knew they were going to take the whole amount, so what was the purpose of charging a little on each visit. They caused my credit score to drop 47 points, which is a lot of points.

Back to the dentures' story; it's been less than 2 years since I purchase these dentures, and I'm already saving toward purchasing new ones. I have never been so hurt and disappointed in my life.

I really cannot find the words to express my hatred for my dentures and Aspen Dental. This place needs to be shut down ASAP!
