Aspen Dental in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania - We'll charge you more if we think you have money!

Your first visit is free--if you don't have insurance. Not if you don't use insurance, if you don't have it. I cancelled and will be going elsewhere. You can't trust people like this. Good job losing the thousands of dollars of dental work I would've sent your way.

I you had sent thousands of dollars of dental care "their way," you would have spent thousands of dollars of substandard dentistry you would have to pay an honest dentist to do over correctly. It is actually great they scared you off.

You might have fallen for their overtreatment ploys. PLEASE forget the *** corporate dental chains and find an honest independent dentist you can trust.

Aspen Dental in West Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania - Rates are ridiculous

I have a discount plan and was quoted almost $6000 for an implant for one tooth. Really? Who can afford that? They are fine for small stuff but heaven forbid you need a root canal or something more

With the CAT scan, surgical guide, implant, abuttment, and implant crown, single tooth replacement runs about $4500 in my practice, if no grafting is needed. Pay $6000 at Aspen and I can guarantee you will get a slipshod job.

Who can afford $4500?

Many patients can. I provide this service to a lot of people, many of whom do not have dental insurance.

There are a few people that cannot wear dentures no matter how well they are made. That is why we dentists discourage patients from having their teeth pulled.

Patients usually have to fight with Aspen for refunds. Better take the money and run. Then find a competent independent dentist and start over.

Well-made dentures cost $1600-$1900 EACH. You made a big mistake going to a corporate chop shop like Aspen to get dentures made.

Update by user Sep 03

There is over $10,000 worth of damage done to my teeth and Aspen Dental has NO DESIRE TO FIX IT!

If by "dead," you mean a tooth whose nerve had died, you could have saved it by a root canal and crown. YOU chose to lose the tooth.

The more teeth a patient has, the more stable a partial is. A$pen is famous for cr@ppy partials. Don't know why you chose to go there over a competent independent dentist. Temporary partials are very rough on the teeth.

They should be taken out of the mouth when you are home and out of the public eye. Temporary partials are just that- TEMPORARY. You need to get any decayed teeth fixed, and have a permanent partial with a metal framework. One made well will cost a little under $2000.

DO NOT have the rest of your teeth pulled and complete dentures made. You will be sorry. Well-made partial dentures are much more stable than full dentures.

By the way, it is NOT customary to clean your teeth on the first exam visit. We have to examine the teeth to assess the condition of your gums before making any appointments for scalings or cleanings.

No decent dentist wants to work for dentures. Any fresh graduate that is any good leaves Aspen within 6 months.

Gee I do several root canals a day and the teeth never shatter. Guess those partners in crime don't know how to to buildups or cast copings to protect the teeth from fracture.

Tell me: why did you go to a sleazy operation like Aspen instead of a regular independent dentist anyway? Were you seduced by TV ads?

Sorry to hear about the death of your beloved mother. Seems like Aspen hardly every sees teeth that they don't want to snatch out.

Can't figure out why so many otherwise unintelligent patients conclude it is a good place to go for dental care. You would be better off going to an African witch doctor than to Aspen

Might as well make your dentures of another patient's impressions. There won't be much difference in the way they fit!

Be sure to write again if your new dentures happen to fit comforably. Now THAT would be an incredible thing to post!

At least you are getting a partial and are getting partially screwed. I got a full denture and got fully screwed.

They put that putty in my butt 4 times trying to get a good mold. Then aspen's dentist finally read the directions on the box and realized when it said to put the putty between the cheeks where their are no teeth that it meant my MOUTH cheeks not my BUTT cheeks!

Total idiots. Got a good cast of my ButtCrack though.

Your partials. Where are they?

We have them, come on in! No, our mistake, we don't have them. Oh wait, we found them. No wait, we mistakenly put them in the mouth of another patients.

Each and every Aspen office is a cluster f _ _ _ of disorganization, due to continual staff turnover.

Nobody wants to work at these chop shop/ gyp joints for long. It's what happens when corporate America tries to get a piece of the action in the dental profession.
