These complaints against Aspen Dental are probably all well founded. However the problem is that many people are too often sucked into loss leader type of promotions.

Then they are led to believe that consumer driven health care can work for them and that they can navigate through this adversarial relationship.

More often than not they become frustrated, disappointed or worse.

My advice is to ask friends and family for someone they trust and interview 3 or so offices to see which feels best. There are no guarantees but I bet this would produce a much better rate of satisfaction than going to some large scale corporate type owned dental office chain.
