Ps I told them about my financial concerns and feelings about how my husband needs care more than me cause he smokes and is 5 years older.also I was thinking about him coming there. They’d say I’m sorry we’ll fine but it’s just cliche. I also heard a guy patient next...

You are spot on in you final analysis. The employees at Aspen know they won't be there long.

So their only motivation is making commission the months they are there. They don't care if you are in pain. They don't care if you are happy with treatment. They don't care if you come back.

The only thing they want is for you to sign on the dotted line for a huge treatment plan, then collect the money up front for the Aspen corporate bank account. Independent are in for the long haul and are dependent on long-term patient satisfaction. They have a vested interest in pleasing you.

By the way, it is totally irresponsible to take a full series of x-rays a do a complete exam when a patient is infected and in pain. The goal should be to eliminate the pain and infection.

Aspen Dental - They're terrible

Usually when teeth are omitted in a small arch, it is a premolar in each quadrant, NOT a second molar. Second molars are made for chewing.

Almost guaranteed your dentist did not bother to view the teeth in wax try-in stage. Another patient looked for a cheap denture, believed a TV ad, and got rooked.

As PT Barnum said a long time ago, there is a sucker born every minute. And there are plenty of crooks like Aspen Dental managers to shaft them out of hard-earned money.

You have had it rough enough with your cancer. Aspen dental isn't worth it.

Aspen is a cancer, everything aspen touches gets infected with pain and suffering. Go to a dentist who will treat you right.

I don't understand why they just did not give you a written prescription to take the the pharmacy. That is what most normal dentists do.

To tell you the truth, it may be be pharmacy's fault. Countless times I have called in a prescription. I can never talk to a pharmacist. All I can do is leave the prescription on a recorded line.

Many times the pharmacies do not check the messages, and claim it was never called in. Wal-Mart and CVS pharmacies are especially negligent doing this.

Don't know why you wanted a tooth pulled. An even bigger mystery is why you went to a sleazebag outfit like Aspen to have it done.

A patient held hostage for payment while bleeding in the waiting room after having a tooth pulled. Yep, sounds like aspen dental alright. Sad scammers.

These are probably ulcers caused by the Herpes virus, which is present in most adult mouths. It frequently happens after trauma.

There is nothing you can do; it will heal in about 10 days.

Why on earth did you have a tooth extracted rather than save it? Why on earth did you go to a corporate chop shop instead of a regular dentist in private practice????

Get you in with "free" and I was told I needed $10,000 worth of dental, but they were so generous they would do it for $6,000. Settled for an extraction. At check out I paid my bill and left. 3 months later they sent me a bill for hundreds more. The dentists there come...

Aspen dental must have some highly skilled scammers. They wanted to do all your work for $10,000 but got you to settle for one extraction for $6,000. Aspen dental sure are crooks but they have big balls when it comes to overselling stuff.

Sounds like a dry socket, which is no ones fault. Many chain clinics don't even give the dentists keys to the door or alarm codes, so they could not treat after-hour patient emergencies if they wanted to.

But mostly the dentists know they will find a better job soon, so they really don't want to come to the office after hours.

Good advice is to find a caring and competent independent dentist in private practice. Patients lose when Wall Street hustlers muscle in the dental profession.
