Please find an EXPERIENCED INDEPENDENT DENTIST to do anything as complicated as implants. Darn right they will try to charge you something to redo your failed filling.

The dentist at your "home" Aspen will not make any money redoing a botched filling.

So they have to find something to charge you for. Remember: At Aspen, corporate revenues come first, employee bonuses come second, and patients come a distant third.

Really good dentists use rubber dams when doing fillings. This automatically keeps the tongue out of the way.

I doubt they even have rubber dams at the Aspen chain of chop shops. You found out what most patients learn sooner or later: Aspen is no deal. Prices a no lower than private dentists. But the big problem, as you found out, is they recommend unneeded treatment.

If a patient wasted my time by not showing up for a bleaching appointment I would not give him another without a deposit.

Most dentists are the same way. By not showing up, you stole their time without paying.

Someone knows what they are doing all right. The bloodsucker that collects all the dough at the front desk.

They make sure the corporate monster gets paid, no matter if the dental treatment is delivered competently or not. Why did you not go to an honest dentist that owns his own practice, instead of the sleaziest corporate mill in America?

I have had better fillings but in at the drive thru window at mcdonalds. Aspen dental has garbage service. You probably didn't even need the fillings anyway.

Aspen after hours dental emergency service was contacted 5 times. I called the emergency service 2 times and their representative contacted me 3 times asking if anyone reached out to me. I was in so much pain from a broken crown. I will now search for a local dentistry who are less expensive and care about customers. No one called. Aspen is all about charging for service that is way more than personal insurance pays. I

Aspen dental does not give a crapp about your pain. Unless you were going to pay them for taking a call , they just tell you to suck one.

As I have told Aspen patient many times, dentists who work for Aspen Crime Syndicate usually are not trusted with keys nor alarm codes to their offices. They could not come down after hours to treat an after-hours emergency even if they wanted to.

They could not get into the office.

But most employee dentists plan to get gone in a few months anyway, so they really do not care about patients in pain. You got the right idea to go to a dentist who locally owns and operates his office.

Just because you had not pain to start with does not mean the tooth was without problem. All it meant was you had no symptoms at the moment. Could have saved a lot of money (and a tooth!) going to an honest and competent private dentist.

$124 is very cheap for any filling. Sure this wasn't just your insurance copayment?

Doubtless they put a plastic filling on a back tooth, instead of amalgam. These crack and chip off in no time. Of course they don't want to call you back.

They are crooks and they have your money already. Why would they want to fixed something that went wrong with their treatment?

@Anonymous

That was for a pin point filling literally the size of a pencil tip on one tooth it was a black dot they charged 124 an no I don't have insurance. The lady was very rude with me.

Well, every root canal needs something at the top to seal it. Without it, bacteria will seep down the root canal and ruin it.

Would you want to do the root canal over because you refused a filling? The filling or crown is always a seperate charge. But I agree, if the dentist said she would do it free, Aspen Dental Crime syndicated should not have charged for it.

Go to a real dentist that owns his own practice. Bet you didn't get any deal on that root canal.

Aspen Dental - Bad experience all around

Went in to have a routine exam at Aspen in Statesboro , Ga. Was told I would need extensive dental work and a root plaining/scaling cleaning. (Another dentist confirmed about the deep cleaning.) So I did this then was told and felt coerced into financing over $2000 worth of dental work/fillings. After all fillings were placed 1 of them fell out at least twice and had to be replaced while another one fell out 3 times.! within 6 months. Doctors acted rushed, as if they didn't care, were pushy although polite. When I asked questions they acted as if I didn't have the right to ask about my teeth because they just knew better. My teeth , my money,

They acted rushed because they ARE rushed. Young dentists fresh out of school (or out of the 3rd world) are triple booked three patients at a time.

They can't even punctually treat one patient at a time. Hey, I bet they never even gave you the option of durable silver fillings for back teeth, did they? Of course, they can't make them harden in 30 seconds with a light gun like they do with those problematic plastic fillings. Expect to have the rest of the fillings fail in a couple of years.

You might even need root canals.

Aspen- the only corporate chop shop where you can expect most any kind of dentistry fail, even after paying dearly for it. Next time, try an independent dentist instead of a cr@ppy corporate chain clinic.

Aspen Dental in District 18, Tennessee - Worst experience

1.5
Details
So this has been the worst experience of my life. So I picked them thinking this would be a good place to go but I was wrong. I paid these people over 2000 dollars for a dental plan that has been somehow overpaid 220 dollars because the math was messed up multiple times. The actual oral surgery was ok but I had went in today 5/21/2019 for an extraction, scaling and a filling which the filling is not finished as the tooth still has a chip in it. These people didn't even offer me a Tylenol because apparently the dentist can feel your pain for you and I was told since the tooth was loose there shouldn't be pain so later the pain increased to which I called them and Katrina at the office said she would return our call but apparently they closed the office instead. So we called and got the emergency number three separate times to which we finally got a call back from the answering service cause the dr couldn't bother to do so. He claimed he had spoke to the dr and they suggested Tylenol and ibuprofen now they don't read records because I have had the gastric and cannot take nsaids and Tylenol hasn't helped so yeah that's my day. To me it is evident that they don't care about their patients only the 2000 dollars we paid them. UPDATE: as of 5/22/2019 I indeed did get a call from management kaylie or katylin I believe her name was and of course it was alleged that we were the reason there was a confusion with medications which indeed I cannot take extended release Tylenol and they were told that so Therefore we were confusing what I could take then it was further alleged that I never disclosed verbally or written of my medical bypass which is a blatant lie and even when they "supposedly" had discovered the absorption issue they again also wrote a prescription indeed for tablets of hydrocodone acetaminophen instead of liquid even though we informed several people of the tablet absorption issue that liquid was needed it was almost like they were not listening but the simple truth is they didn't care. I have not changed my view I feel as if they heard what they wanted to hear and any absorption issues were my own. At this point I was tired of the whole issue and in pain enough to take the tablets but I will not be returning here. I would like a establishment who actually cares for ur needs as a patient and not passing the buck or clearly not hearing of your medical issues and needs. The lady who called was rude and short and didn't care about anything but stating they were indeed offering me something now the next day being said now and literally Making sure it was stated that it was through no fault of their own because an establishment can not possibly be responsible for their services and subsequent actions apparently. I have since done more research and found there are many people who have had a similar experience to mine and if I had read the consumer affairs report regarding them I would not have went here. On another note they only mentioned the Tylenol and the records in this phone call and I'm sure it was because having to fix the filling would have meant a cost to them instead of the consumer.

What is the matter with those *** I at least give a non-narcotic like Toradol for pain, and a narcotic if that does not do the trick. The truth is after they got your money they really did not give a flip. Try an honest independent dentist next time instead of a one stop corporate chop shop.
