Maybe he didn't put his DEA on it because his DEA license had been revoked.

Our dentist don't kneed a dea license. Thier balls are so big they just outline them with a pencil on the script. The farmacits knows what he means.

A$pen's chop shops will wipe patients out of all teeth good or bad, even if they can be saved easily. Then they hand you a made-in-China denture and it is a miracle if you can even wear it.

Please take your loved one to a decent older dentist who knows his stuff, and not another A$pen dental mill clone.

Fabricating good dentures is a complicated thing to do. It is not like buying a lawn mower at Home Depot.

Guest

They still charged you for the appointment though. That's all aspen dental cares about, $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. He probably didn't have a DEA #.

Aspen Dental - Dental Services Review

It took me ten months and several unnecessary appointments to receive my upper, lower dentures. They not only deceived me, they outright lied to me. I was told in six months after my gums healed , i would receive a new lower denture, that the one I had was temporary. Nope...they said the one i had was my permanent denture . If i wanted a new one , i had to pay for another one , WHAT!!!!THAT IS CLEARLY NOT WHAT I WAS TOLD FROM THE START.....they took my money, and lied. to me. Now my husband has a gum infection after having work done by the same office. HELP PLEASE SOMEONE. I surly Believe I am not the only one that has been mislead by them. They should be Shut down , or at the least be investigate!! Im thinking about talking to a lawyer and starting a class action lawsuit against them.

A class action lawsuit was tried at one time. A$pen has more and better lawyers than you can ever afford.

I don't think the lawsuit was successful.

One A$pen patient who was butchered collected all the facts and photos and started an Aspen Dental Nightmares Facebook page. She got a lot of threats but would not take it down. It got real popular, and finally A$pen refunded her money on the condition that she eliminate that Facebook page. That is a tactic you could try.

The corporate chain clinic business formed a trade group that can buy off politicians and fight off any legal challenges.

You see, it is a lucrative business for Wall Street *** and they don't want to give up their new cash cow. A$pen is owned by Leonard Greene & Partners, which has THREE corporate jets registered to them!

That is why aspen dental has 2288 complaints on this site alone. You will find thousands more posted everywhere else.

Glad you had a good experience. If Dr.

Johnson is as good as you say, she will be gone in less than 6 months. No decent dentist works at this viper's nest of thievery for long.

There are two types of A$pen patients: those that have been screwed over, and those that haven't been screwed over yet.

Be happy you are in the second group. Get out of there fast before you wind up in the first group, as all patients eventually do.

Aspen Dental - Dentures Review

I went in to have bottom teeth extracted and denture made , they billed me for aveoplasty as well. After extraction the placed bottom denture in said I didn't need aveoplasty , so they said they would make new top denture for same cost. I have had 3 wax try in, still don't fit . If I had kept old top denture they still don't align properly with new one bottom ones . I haven't eaten in a month .

Said they didn't do an aveoloplasty, but billed for it anyway? Happens all the time, especially at the end of the month when the employee-slave dentists are under the gun to hit revenue targets.

It is always a roll of the dice when you fabricate a denture BEFORE the teeth are extracted.

It is hard enough for an experienced dentist with a good lab like I have to do. Darn near impossible for a fresh young graduate forced to used abysmal Aspen labs.

2 Sets of worthless Teeth

Apen Dental made 2 pair of dentures that totally worthless.First sample set couldn't wear the bottoms even after relining them,6months later anther permanent set just as bad as the first set. Can't even *** a banana, and the bottoms are not all the way down on one side of my gums. Then another one of their dentist , not the original one that worked on me told me ,I should have been told by the x-rays their was bone loss ,and I would have to pay another$2000.00 or better for some kind of operation that will clamp them on permantly or else there was nothing more they could do.REALLY? I paid $6000.00 for two sets of teeth that I have to carry polident around with me and chose where to eat where I can get something soft.I am still paying for these teeth that are aweful ita almost like bait and switch. Then they automatically finance you with Care Credit, thats win win for them.Give me my money back guarantee ,I will give you both sets of these teeth back and find a real dentist.

Every time I go into AD, I have more "deep cleaning" issues, a is according to them. It is always more antibiotics.

After checking with others who go to AD, we are all getting the same story!

I am totally done with their run around and high prices. Do NOT recommend!

The one type of "deep cleaning" they are real good at is deep cleaning your wallet.

Guest

Aspen dental knew you needed implants to retain your denture at the first appointment. Aspen was willing to snatch that $6,000 out of you as soon as possible because you would be more willing to sign the credit card loan thinking that was all.

Aspen's next step was to let you in on the further $2,000 cost after they let you sign for the $6,000 because they had you on the hook then. Total scammers.

Guest

The question is, why didn't you go to a real dentist to start with? It is not like there is a shortage of them.

Sounds like you lack bone on your lower jaw.

Bad mistake to have all your teeth removed. These days, when I see a patient lacking sufficient bone on the lower arch, I won't even construct a denture without insisting on at least a couple of implants. Then I can anchor the lower denture to the implants via magnetic attachments.

Whatever you do, don't let some newbie dentist talk you into "mini-implants." We real dentists often refer to these as "temporary implants," because they fall out so quickly and regularly.

Find a dentist, preferably an older ex-military one, to do your next set of dentures.

It takes years to get really good at fabricating good dentures. They aren't cheap, either.

Yeah, they are that hard up for money. You got to hire a lawyer to get a refund of a legitimate credit balance.

The owner, Leonard Greene & Partners, is highly leveraged.

As interest rates go up this firm gets squeezed into a cash crunch. Getting money back is like getting blood from a turnip.

Aspen is a dental mill. Your best bet is to find a dentist in private practice in your town.

Guest

Same thing happened to me at a shady used car dealership. Maybe that used car dealer now owns aspen.

It wouldn't surprise me any. Funny how they are pushing and get in your face when they want your money and then aspen runs like chicken****s when you get in aspen's face.

Guest

The goal of a dentist in private practice is to meet or exceed his patients' needs, so they will refer other patients to him, and his practice will flourish.

The corporate dental model, of which A$pen is the worst example, works completely differently. Lure patients in by deceptive TV ads which promise something "free." Then relieve patients of as much cash, and put them in as much debt, as quickly as A$pen can.

When problems arise from crumby treatment and patients complain, just dismiss them from the practice.

Don't worry, because plenty of new sucker-patients are coming in the front door after watching the deceptive TV ads.

A$pen is owned by private equity investors, not dentists. Never forget that.

My big mistake

I had my first appt. in Oct .12,2016 for xray and exam. Then my next appt. on Oct. 18 to go over the review as to what I need to have done. My bottom partical at that time the metal was cutting into my gums so bad could not wear them. I had just previously went to affordable dentures to get my new partial, only they told me it would not fit since I had a broken crown earlier and a new one would not fit,so they reccommed Aspen Dental. Also at this time my top denture was only one year old and was good. So the dentist says my denture looks like 10 Years old. Now my choise was to get a new top denture,a bottom partial and 3 crowns fixed, over $5k. Never showed me anything less than 1500. dollars. Later on t.v. to see dentures starting at 399. So I had no choise to go for it. Now after the crowns are fixed they start on the other. I get the top plate and bottom partial Nov. 28 2016. Wear them until Dec. 14 when the bottom partial was not fitting. Now they say they have to send them off to be re-fixed to fit. Get them back on Jan.16,2017 having to eat all this time with no bottom teeth which was horrible. Now I wear them for five days and still do not fit. So the 20th they are sent off again for another 3 weeks

From one shyster dental clip joint to another your go. Affordable Dentures fleeced you, so you watch TV ads and figure Aspen should be the next one to do the shearing.

(You saw a commercial advertising dentures for $399 and had "no choice" but to "go for it?" Didn't know they could exercise mind control by TV ads. )

What a laugh!

Never in a thousand years would you think to go to a good dentist that actually knows what he is doing.

Your partial could be sent back one hundred times and still would not fit right. Aspen uses the crumbiest labs on the planet, many times in China.

Get used to chewing soft foods, buddy.

Guest

Run away form aspen dental. It is all junk.

Aspen's dentures are horrible. Even if your partial fits it will be made in China from junk pot metal.

Buy american. Aspen dental will crash and burn one day.

Such a hateful office manager

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
My first and only visit to Aspen Dental was very pleasant up to the point of having to talk with Mandy S., the financial aid person, and apparently the office manager. The dental tech and Dentist, Dr. Goodman, were really nice and understanding to my wants and needs related to my dental care. Once I thought everything was finished with my examination and was ready to make my appointment for treatment, I was guided to Mandy's room to review my treatment "options." I was greeted with a snarky attitude and a question that was her asking if I have been saving money for treatment. I told her I would be paying cash, and thought to myself what business is it of hers if I have been saving money or not. As long as the bill is paid, then that is my business. I shrugged the attitude off, considering it was Monday morning. However, since she did ask the question about payment, I asked if they worked with a credit agency, if I did decide to change my mind and make payments. She said yes and handed me a brochure of a company they work with. I told her I would take it home to read the terms and conditions, and if I decide to use credit, I will let her know. She rudely said that I could not leave her office with the brochure, even just to read it. I thought that was odd. Couldn't even take a brochure home.. As the conversation about my treatment continued, it quickly became very clear to me that she was trying to charge/scam me with unnecessary treatment "add-on's." When I declined this unnecessary treatment option and stated to her exactly what I wanted fixed with my teeth, which was to fix just a couple teeth so I could proceed with braces from my orthodontist, she became very abrasive. As she continued to get defensive she made the following asinine statement to me, "Honey, it would be illegal for us to not perform our treatment options (the extra add-on's) and then have your ortho put braces on your teeth". I looked at her with complete confusion. I told her that this is the work my orthodontist wanted me to have done, and I told her I did talk this over with Dr. Goodman, and he agreed that would be good plan to have for me. She disagreed, yet again stating it was illegal. Illegal?? As we continued to go in circles she became even more argumentative. At that point I just gave up. I got up out of my seat to leave and told her she was full of {{Redacted}}and I would not pay for any unnecessary work. At that point she dramatically and comically jumped out of her seat and literally started yelling and screaming at me, like bloody murder loud, for me to get out of her office. I gladly left her office without incident. I went up to the receptionist's desk and asked her how I could get a copy of my x-rays. I, along with everyone in the waiting room, could hear Mandy yelling in the back. Mandy then came up to the receptionist desk where I was and started yelling at me to never come back. She said I was BANNED and KICKED OUT. I said that's fine, I do not intend to come back. I then asked her what her name was (at that point I didn't know). She refused to tell me. I asked her about 5 or 6 times. Then out of pure curiosity as to what her answer would be, I then asked what law they (Aspen Dental) would be breaking by me not accepting their add-on's. Of course she told me to "lick up the statute myself." Clearly she didn't have an answer considering it was a lie and she was just trying to add on a couple $$$ to my bill. Anyway, she went back to her office after a couple more minutes of her ranting. I then give the receptionist back the paperwork so I could get my x-rays, and she (the receptionist) very genuinely apologized. Like I said, everyone else there was as nice as can be. I then turn around to leave to find several people in the waiting room, that had heard this entire outburst. I was very embarrassed, considering Mandy was acting like she had been assaulted. After looking over reviews from Facebook, Google, and other sites, I noticed that this is typical with how she practices her position with Aspen Dental. Will NOT recommend Aspen Dental.

I had numerous billing problems with them. Eventually, got some money returned to me after involving the BBB, the CFO of Aspen Dental, and the State of NJ Pension (I am a retired teacher), Dental Benefits, and CIGNA Dental.

Get other agencies involved, and have your paper work in order. Be sure to copy each agency in on any letters or emails you have with Aspen Dental.

Have a paper trail. I no longer go to Aspen Dental and have a wonderful new dentist in his own practice that accepts my insurance.

NOte how Mandy resembled a typical "closer" on a used car lot or time-share condo racket. You had better believe A$pen Dental Crime Syndicate tracks her "closing" percentages.

Every day she doesn't close enough inflated treatment plans is a day she stands to lose her job.

All this pressure can cause employees to boil over and lose their cool, like happened in front of you.

Mandy did you a favor flying off the handle. If you had not have walked, you might have ended up with a boatload of inappropriate and unrcessary dental treatment charged on high-interest credit card. And much might have been incompetently delivered, and needed correction somewhere else at additional expense.

Not sure why you went to a one stop chop shop like A$pen to start with, but you would be better off finding an honest and competent guy or gal who owns his own practice.

By the way, you were right about something.

There is nothing "illegal" about sending you away without recommended treatment done. Especially when the treatment was probably inappropriate to start with.

I have actually have dentist friends in 3rd world countries and their practices are run honestly and efficiently compared to A$pen.

How are they still open? State boards of dentistry have no disciplinary authority over private equity investors who are not dentists, so the scams roll on.

Every once in a while a state attorney general sanctions them.

They just pay the fine and move ahead with more scams. Crooks will be crooks!

Thank you again for your precise insight, Doc. They've really got the bull by the horns and patients by the short hairs.

Knowing a guy who knows a guy who used to play the game every day, I can say with 100% confidence that everything that Seasoned Dentist posts is true, fair, and absolutely accurate.

He or she doesn't post hateful accusations, and every post is well researched and truthful. It makes my stomach turn how such a noble profession has been bastardized by such greed and cowardice.

There is a practice where one of the main complaints is how the Dentist/"Practice Owner" (aka poor sucker who actually believes is the owner of the practice) refuses to communicate with patients during times of dissatisfaction.

This person is such a coward that it is common practice to hide behind some dips#@% office manager or an even more incompetent district manager to sprint away from confrontation. Wants to break an arm patting self on the back but runs and hides with that tail between the legs any time they get called out for unethical or dishonest behavior.

The company's philosophy is: That’s perfectly fine because that is what we are here to do. Clean your mess.

We can always blame our managers becuase the Doctor can never do any wrong.

LAUGHABLE!

So have you ever wondered where the dentists who graduate last in their class at the worst dental schools practice?

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-1309704

The reality is that the dentist employees of A$pen and other similar scam chains put themselves in grave danger.

Suppose A$pen does something like refuses to refund a credit balance to a patient. (Happens all the time.) The patient is angry.

They could hire a lawyer and sue A$pen, but who wants that expense? Patients would like the state board of dentistry to handle it, but state boards cannot discipline managers and owners of A$pen. They can only discipline people with dental and hygienist licenses. What to do?

The patient THINKS the dentist that treated him is the OWNER of the A$pen clinic.

So they report the EMPLOYEE DENTIST to the state board for not issuing the credit refund check. A$pen is happy about this. They are glad for an employee dentist to take the fall for their crime.

They can get a replacement dentist the very same week and keep the scams going. Meanwhile, the innocent dentist is disciplined perhaps losing his license or refunding the patient money out of his own pocket!

Guest

Be glad aspen's horrible manners and incompetent service ran you off. If they had suckered you in and played you into one of their scams, your bank account and teeth would have been in trouble. Aspen's office money grabber probably worked at a pawn shop before.

I visited Aspen Dental for a tooth extraction. The dentist did not seem to know what he was doing. Then a few weeks later, I get s sinus infection that took 3 rounds of antibiotics to get rid of it. Now I have another one. CT scan shows that I have a oral antral fistula with a tooth fragment in the wall of the sinus. Which means that I have to have sinus surgery to remove the fragment and close the fistula. I am very upset.

Sending an upper tooth root into the sinus during a difficult extraction is always a risk. But in nearly 40 years of extracting teeth, many of them impacted, it has yet to happen to me.

Gives you an idea of how rare it is.

The sad thing is the treating dentist probably knew that it happened at the time of the surgery. Any good surgeon counts the roots during extractions. He could have said, "I think a tooth root may have made it into your sinus, and you may need a surgical recovery later."

It is sad this happened to you.

I would urge you to avoid all other corporate chop shops like A$pen in the future. You will pay dearly pay for your fateful decision to go there

It sounds just like something that would happen at aspen dental. Good luck.

Beware of ASPEN DENTAL not standing behind their work.
Updated by user Jul 29, 2016

I still have constant infection and the two teeth are very loose and wiggly now, and so dark grey! I had to spend another $100 dollars to have just one tooth x-rayed.

The dentist said he can see that they (Aspen Dental) did not put in any rods and the tooth will break at the gum line eventually. He also said that the filler was not put in properly and there were gaps between the filler and my gums that have now abscessed. I've done five rounds of antibiotics now and am still having a terrible time with infection. I had a stroke a few years ago and I keep having horrible chest pains and palpatations now which I believe are happening from all the chronic infection from the shoddy root canals.

I've written, emailed and been to the office multiple times asking for help. The most they will do is write a script for more antibiotics. This is no way to live! I wish I had never gone into that place.

Something goes wrong and they shove you out the door. Leaving you to deal with the mess they made in your mouth. And I guess this is supposed to be acceptable service for which you pay? How is that.

Are there no lawyers out there for this? I'm ready!

This is a photo of my broken teeth BEFORE Aspen worked on them.

Original review Jun 09, 2016
Yes, I fell and broke two teeth. There was no bleeding or pain from the teeth, just the lip they cut and my jaw where it was bruised from the fall. I went to Aspen Dental two weeks later and was told to come back in four weeks for another exam. The two teeth wiggled but I could brush normally and eat just fine, it just looked awful. When I returned four weeks later they said I needed to extract the teeth or have two root canals because they would eventually turn gray or black. I am disabled and on Medicare so I cannot afford basic needs just to survive in life and of course have no insurance for teeth. They said they wanted to help me out and if I agreed to let them, they would conduct two root canals for a reduced price and let me pay on time. However, I had to let them do it right then. I thought "how wonderful" I would not look so scary anymore. They did both canals right then, x-raying and probing several times as the worked. I left with some strange looking teeth but they told me to come back the following week for temp fillings. I left still able to eat and brush without pain. Upon returning for fillings the woman did not even let my gums numb before digging in my mouth with a needle and she was so rough I was crying. I never cried once during a double root canal the week before. She was so rough I actually tried to stop her at one point by grabbing at her hand! I left in tears telling everyone how badly it hurt. I could not brush or eat normally and if I even wiped my nose I would be in great pain. Three weeks later, I returned with concerns about how the pain kept getting worse, not better. They took an x-ray and told me I needed to have the teeth extracted now or go to a specialist. There specialist wanted $120 just to walk in the door. I can't afford to get the teeth fixed now and I'm still paying Aspen for ruining my teeth. I could eat and brush before going in there, and now, I have a constant migraine in my face and head, have lost lots of weight because I cannot eat normally, can't brush normally, and my teeth hurt every time I move my lips and I seem to have chronic infection now. And they are grey in color and one filling fell right out. I truly wished I had NEVER walked into that place. And I have notified them several times and all I'm told is "well we tried to help you"..... yeah but when something goes wrong, your on your own. Quite typical, but NOT very professional at all. It has made me very sick! Just be aware.

Very typical for aspen. They need to move to china where their supplies (junk) come from.

Guest

When a patient has trauma to teeth so they are loosened, the usual protocol is to splint the teeth together with a bonded wire to stabilize them. Almost all the time they eventually need a root canal.

Usually we wait for some healing to occur from the trauma, then start the roots canals in a couple of weeks or so.

Sometimes when the teeth are broken and look ugly, we do a filling right away, even when we know they will have to have root canals.

If the fall loosened the teeth so much, chances are you had periodontal diseases before your fall, which is certainly not A$pen's fault.

Sorry, but what happened in your accident was very complicated and labor-intensive to treat. You really cannot expect any practice to do all the treatment you needed for next to nothing and lose money. This is why we all need some savings stashed away to get us through unexpected bad turns in life.

However, you probably could have done a lot better going to a private dentist.

This is one of the reasons it is important to belong to a church or synagogue, where members work together to help each other through difficulties like yours.

Lorre Otd
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-1171030

Thank you for your long distant diagnosis of my condition of my teeth, having NEVER seen me or my mouth or xrays. If the normal protocol, as you stated, was to bond the teeth together then they even failed to mention (let alone perform) that step.

I was told if I did not have the root canals I would lose the teeth. That was it! Extraction or root canals were the only two treatments mentioned (and that was before they knew my financial status). I did not ask them to do it for free either.

They offered to do it at the discounted price because of my financial situation. And they are the ones that said I had to do it right then that day. That should not mean I deserve whatever I get. And why should my dental issues have anything to do with my church relations.

My church is not responsible for my dental work. We have a congregation made up of mostly of retired and disabled elderly people. I really feel that a huge company that advertises on television how professional they are, should be held somewhat accountable for what they say and do. Far more than my church or it's members.

But hey, I guess that's your opinion. Just like the your opinion of the condition of my teeth before the fall.

Watch out because aspen will yank out every tooth that walks into their office. Terrible scammers!

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Lorre Otd

From the photo you posted, the most logical course of action would be:

1. Splint the teeth with a bonded wire if they are loose.

2.

Repair the chip with bonded resin for the time being- much cheaper than a crown. A typical fee for this might be around $300.

3. Do root canals once the pulps are confirmed to be dead. If the teeth have changed color, bleach can be inserted in the space above the root canal.

Typical fee for a root canal on a front tooth is $550-$750.

4. After the color is lightened, put permanent fillings in the back of your teeth. Typical fee is about $170 each.

This should hold you for a while. If the bonded fillings break, your option is to do cast posts and crowns.

This is what will really be expensive because it involves lab work. I don't believe any ads I see on TV. Anyone can pay to say anything in a TV ad. Professionals who advertise on TV are typically crooks.

I only mention church because I have had congregations want to help members in need dentally, and I have assisted in the past. Not all churches function this way, however.

Thank you for the information. Wish I had been told all that before I went to Aspen and they did their root canals and fillings (one fell out within two weeks).

They only gave me two options - two root canals RIGHT NOW, or extraction of the teeth. They are grey in color now and I still have intense pain in my face all the way up to my forehead. If I wipe my nose the pain makes my eyes water. I have chronic headaches and am on my third round of antibiotics.

Can hardly stand to eat or brush them. When I sleep, just the pressure from the pillow on the side of my face makes it almost impossible. And when I talk, the movement of my lip against the teeth, make me talk without closing my mouth because it hurts that badly. They just gave me the boot out the door when I returned for help and said I needed them extracted now.

I am still paying on my bill and will have them paid off by the third of next month. I think the way they chose to handle it was extremely unprofessional. If I could of waited for the root canals, instead of having to do it right then, I would of read all the similar complaints from other patients and would not of had it done there at all. I just thought "how wonderful" and actually said a little prayer thanking God right there in the finance office when they said they were going to help me that day.

I just wished I had never walked in there. I'm new in this area, live way out in the woods here, and don't know a soul here. So I saw their ad on the television and thought "wow, a free exam and xrays". All I asked them for was options for how to fix them so I did not look so scary.

The rest was all their own idea. I'm posting my experience so hopefully others will be aware of the issues I had with them, and to possibly help someone else avoid from having to pay the price I have for their "expertise" service.

Aspen Dental - Dental Services Review

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Aspen Webster N.Y had tooth pain on a broken mouler on january 2nd (observed holiday) so i decided to call aspen dental since they were the only place open. The lead dentist Dr. U looked at my initial x rays and told me i just need a crown. The office manage then said it would be 440$ and i would have to pay for half before they could do anything so i did. After the temporary crown was put on i was in sever pain tried waiting it out a couple weeks and finally had to call in with severe tooth pain a couple days before my next appointment. They got me in that day and just took my temp crown off and put my permanemt crown on with temporary cement with no x rays. The next morning (saturday) i was in so much pain i called the emergency line the Dr. Informed he cant do anything until monday. I had no other choice but to see another dentist that saturday and he x rayed my tooth and said i had a severe infection. Now aspen dental wants 465 dollars not happening. DO NOT GO HERE.

Aspen's motto is go wide open and grab as much money as possible. Maybe aspen was planning on yanking the tooth later and placing a new, shiny and expensive implant in there for you.

Only an *** dentist would put a crown on a tooth giving severe pain. The crown sure can't do anything to relieve pain.

Any sane dentist would have started a root canal and got you out of pain on the first visit. Then a buildup and crown would have been done ONCE YOU WERE OUT OF PAIN.

These goofballs did it exactly backwards. Why? Probably the desperate young dentists working for A$pen don't know how to do molar root canals efficiently yet.

Wanting to earn commission, they just did the most expensive thing they knew how to do well, which was a crown. Can't wait to hear what your new dentist thinks of your new A$pen made-in-China crown!

Huge cash up front for aspen and *** treatment and pain for you. It's just aspen doing what they do best.

Wow, Paul. You were a licensed insurance agent and had not heard about all the scams this crumby corporate chain clinic pulls?

I thought the news had gotten out everywhere, but apparently not in your part of Georgia.

If you have not gotten it figured out, A$pen's most common scam is running up a tab on gum treatment whether necessary or not. The hygienists are hounded to do this by their managers, who are not dentists. Everything is about maximizing revenues for the private equity vultures Leonard Green & Partners who illegally owns the joint.

Write to your state legislature.

Have him demand the state board of dentistry formulate bulletproof ownership tests so companies like Aspen can claim the employee dentists own the clinic , when it is really nothing but a lie. The Board would like to hear from patients like you, even though they cannot do anything legally against A$pen, since it is not owned by dentists.

Aspen Dental - Review in Hospitals, Clinics and Medical Centers, Doctors category

Called for appt. After holding forv30 minutes was told could not get an appt for six days. This was a dental emergency. The pain was severe. Then she said I need to "reserve" my appt with 60 % of the fee. Terrible experience. Will let my Medicare Complete plan know. Found another dentist.

aspen dental offered you the priviledge of having an appointment with them for 60% down? I bet aspen got off the phone with you and starting rolling on the floor with laughter.

This is the rip off attitude that is rampant at aspen dental. Being rude and screwing people over is aspen dental's legacy.
