There are a few people that cannot wear dentures no matter how well they are made. That is why we dentists discourage patients from having their teeth pulled.

Patients usually have to fight with Aspen for refunds. Better take the money and run. Then find a competent independent dentist and start over.

Well-made dentures cost $1600-$1900 EACH. You made a big mistake going to a corporate chop shop like Aspen to get dentures made.

Sure would have saved money to have had a competent dentist make your dentures to start with, wouldn't it? Perhaps a skilled independent dentist can reline them to make them fit better.

You will of course have to pay him for that service.

Good laboratory relines made out of heat-cured acrylic cost $450-$550 per denture. Go shopping for a very low price on this and you will have someone do a substandard job again!

Tooth extractions can be rough, especially later in life. Tell me, why did you not take care of your teeth and save them, rather than neglect them and have them extracted? Regardless, going to a sh!hole corporate clinic like Aspen instead of an honest independent dentist was a big mistake.

Aspen Dental review in Springfield, Ohio: Extremely dissatisfied

They promised to pull my fiance teeth and provide him with proper dentures. He signed a loan agreement to provide what his insurance company would not cover. They never pulled all the teeth and gave him temporary dentures that didn't fit properly. When he called and complained they refused to see him because they claimed he owed them money. Now the loan company is suing him and attempting garnishing his wages. We went to my dentist who did remove the remaining teeth that Aspen was supposed to which cost me 300.00 because those teeth were causing problems

A$pen trick #173: Collect all the money for a procedure up front. Do some of the promised treatment, then claim the patient owes more money.

Why did your fiance want to lose all of his teeth instead of saving some and having PARTIAL dentures or overdentures? That was unwise. Did alarm bells not ring when these con artists want all the money up front? No honest dentist does treatment that way.

Good luck trying to fight these scammers. They are like drug addicts- stealing money from whomever they can.

In return, they provide services that are third-world quality. You made a bad decision when you sent your fiance there instead of an independent dentist.

Aspen Dental review - The Dr put a whole in my nasal passage and ear.

FYI, sinus preforation happens occasionally with difficult extractions. I have had it happen twice in my 40 year career.

Usually they heal up fine without follow-up sugery. The patient has congestion while it is healing. I have never seen a preforation cause pain. It is not malpractice.

However, in an informed consent before the extraction, the possibility should be mentioned to the patient. Risks like this is one reason patients should take care of their teeth, instead of having extractions.

Tooth extraction is minor surgery, and there is always risk to surgery. Why did you go to a *** clinic like Aspen instead of a regular dentist in private practice.

Glad you are astute enough to doubt advertising hype. Most people aren't No telling how many of your teeth these rascals would have tried to extract.

Aspen is not a chain of health clinics, it is an organized crime syndicate claiming more victims every day. Spread the word!

Aspen Dental review: Aspen is crazy

I went to Aspen Dental to have a tooth pulled. they wouldn't do anything on the first day. they did X-rays and gave me an exam and charged me $80. they recommended that I had all 25 teeth that I had left pulled and get $13,000 Dentures. they moved extremely fast w making me a dental plan without even giving me any other options or asking or considering how I felt about it or what I really wanted to do. I just want a few of my teeth fixed. I don't want to pull all of my teeth out and get $13,000 Dentures it's not what I want to do. I highly highly do not recommend this company. I'm glad I started looking at reviews before I went back for my next visit. Aspen Dental is a scam and a ripoff.

Aspen is best at scamming when the patient is in pain or infected. They are the most vulnerable then.

Desperate patients will sign anything, including promissary notes for big bucks, to get out of pain.

That is how Aspen hooks patients. The morals of vipers- that is Aspen management for you.

What we dentists are taught in dental school: Treat the chief complaint of the patient if at all possible on the first appointment. Then have them back for a complete exam the next visit.

The Aspen Way: Ignore the patient's chief complaint. Do a complete work-up and strong-arm the patient to pay for ALL of the proposed treatment up front.

Then make it hard for the patient to get appointments to get the treatment done. The hope is you will give up, let them keep your money for doing nothing, and pay an honest dentist again to do the little treatment you actually need.

My experiences with DR Zadeh has been a feeling that for once a Dr cares about the patient and willing to take the time to explain what he is going to do and why in a term the average person can understand I would highly recommend Dr Zadeh as my family dentist Charles Steele, LTC Retired

Colonel Steel, thank you for your military service. Dr.

Zadeh might actually be a good young dentist. If she is, she will leave Aspen within a year.

Nobody works for a low-paying clinic owned by Wall Street con men. She won't be your family dentist for long, because a convenant-not-to-compete will prevent her from practicing near you when she bails on the Aspen dental mill.

Aspen hardly ever met a teeth they did not want to snatch from your body. Started out as a "yank-em-all" clinic in Syracuse, and it can't seem to shake this odious heritage.

Go to an honest dentist and get an assessment.

It will be good back-up in your quest to get a refund. Perhaps he can reline the partial denture to make it wearable.
