Aspen Dental - NEGLIGENCE BY SAN ANGELO OFFICE MAKES PROBLEM MUCH WORSE
The problem I was most concerned about was with abscess-like pain coming from an old dental implant. I was happy to get a free initial exam with X-rays, soft-tissue exam, etc.
included. But they failed to solve the problem I was most concerned about. I specifically asked the dental staff to remove the crown on the implant tooth and see if the source of pain could be found. They insisted that the problem had to be somewhere else and did not investigate to find out where all the pain was coming from.
They did prescribe clindamycin.
Unfortunately the inflammatory condition on the dental implant tooth became much worse and was increasingly difficult to control with antibiotics. Their office is closed on Saturdays and Sundays but they have a pain/emergency phone number which I called. I was directed to leave a message about the problem with the person answering the phone. I did so.
I was told that a doctor would call me in 30 minutes. No one ever called. I also sent them an email message which they failed to respond to.
The condition around the old implant tooth has become extremely painful and they don't seem to care. Thanks to their negligence it has become much worse and far more dangerous whatever the exact condition is.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Aspen Dental Cons: Midleading.
Location: San Angelo, Texas

Going to a fleabag joint like A$pen for an implant problem would be like going to a brake and muffler shop to have a jet turbine engine repaired. Wrong place for the job, buddy.
These young dentists wouldn't know how to treat an implant infection any more than they would know how to organize an expedition to Mars.
Gotta find someone with a LOT of experience treating implant problems- most likely a periodontist. Why can't you go back to the dentist who placed the implant?
Antibiotics alone will do little to nothing.
You are barking up the wrong tree seeking help at A$pen. Find someone who can actually treat the problem or you are going to lose that implant.
Never go to aspen to have any type of treatment for any reason.
